After losing control, he drove onto the grassy median that runs along Beechnut, and then slammed head-on into a tree.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, and luckily no other cars were involved in the crash. It has not yet been released as to whether the victim’s erratic driving had to do with alcohol consumption, but in cases like this it is usually a possibility. It has also not been released if the man was wearing a safety belt.
