Joe Stephens is a double board certified lawyer who has tried over 100 Houston injury trials during 26 years of practice protecting the rights of the poor, the injured, the forgotten, and the downtrodden. His specialty in trying cases to a jury has earned him recognition across the country. Joe Stephens has received national recognition for his success and his integrity. He has been involved in many cases that have received National media attention, including the Clara Harris Wrongful Death case.
He is a member of many lawyer organizations such as the Texas Trial Lawyer’s Association, American Association of Justice, the State Bar of Texas, and the Houston Trial Lawyer’s Association. The United Supreme Court admitted him to practice before it. He also filed many appeals and has argued to The Texas Supreme Court, the highest court in Texas.
He represents the common man, the regular woman, and the ordinary person. These are folks who usually do not have the money to advance towards a lawsuit. Therefore, if he does not win any money for his clients, he does not charge them anything. He gets paid only from a person’s recovery.
He has never had a client file a grievance against him.
